Luca graduated in 1983 from the Institute of European Design and later worked as photographer in Rome, Italy, collaborating with the Condè Nast group on L’uomo Vogue, Maison et jardin, Vogue Italia and Casa Vogue. This versatile artist during the years 1987-1990 created music compositions for several artist recitals and a theatrical work and later from 1994-2009 was engaged as a professional anatomy illustrator. Luca published several books for Springer, Informa and Casa Editrice delle Rose among others, while initiating his artistic incursions into photography and installations. Luca’s first solo exhibit in January 2002 at Araldica Gallery in Bologna included The electrical garden, an installation with video, music and photography in light boxes, which proved a success. In February 2008 he was part of a group exhibition at Artefiera in Bologna. He currently works and resides in Miami with his family. |
